Hadlyme Conn. [Connecticut] Nov [November] 11th 79
Wier [Wier] Boyd Esq. [Esquire]
Dear Sir.

I wrote you several weeks ago in regard to our mine and also requesting you to send me that money received from Mr. Williams to settle the rents which I paid you. I have not heard from you since and would beg you to write me upon the receipt of this. You have probably met Mr. Trimble before this time and I would like to know what you got out of him in reference to closing up the trade at once or at least making

such arrangements as would release me from the debts of the concern.

Hoping to hear from you at once I remain

Yours Truly
[Signed] W. S. Hungerford.
Hadlyme Connecticut.
[added text: P. S. I shall be interested in any mining news from your section that you may see fit to communicate. I am somewhat interested in another enterprise there and may go down there again next Spring but do not know. W. S. H.]
