One of the numerous gold mining cuts inside the city limits of Dahlonega. This one is on Crown Mt. [Mountain] A short hike from the Pioneer Gold Museum leads through the cut where petrified wood may be found as well as gold ore. Quartz crystals have also been found on this walk.
