According to the contract, Melba, Daniels, and Mitchell, a company of six performers, agree to produce for two weeks at the Douglass Theatre stock shows such as vaudeville, musical comedy, and dramas. They further agree to play the usual members of the show daily, and Stein promises to pay Melba, Daniels, and Mitchell one hundred fifty dollars per week.
