Field Labels
As an alternative to using the pull-down boxes to select the indexed field, you may also do a command line search. In other words, you may enter the indexed field label and the terms you wish to search in the search box. Below is a table of the searchable field labels that you may use. Full boolean (connector) searching is possible using AND, OR, or NOT and parentheses as needed.
Examples:
- keywords: highway and author: audits
- ti: forestry and rt: s (note: s is the code for books and pamphlets)
- yr: 2009 and rt: s
- ti: news not au: communication
- titles: "georgia adopt-a-stream" (note: enclose the terms in quotes for phrase indexes)
- _yr: "2009 10 21" (note: enclose the terms in quotes for phrase indexes)
