- Where did the Ships for Victory
images come from?
The images featured on this Web site are part of the J.A. Jones Construction Company collection housed in the Special Collections of the Brunswick-Glynn County Library. The collection consists of photographs, ephemera, a clipping file, videotaped oral history interviews, and issues of the Brunswick Mariner. The items in the collection were donated by individuals associated with the J.A. Jones Construction Company. In the 1990s, the son of Emil Kratt, J.A. Jones Construction's general manager, donated a substantial group of materials.

At this time, there are neither plans nor additional funds to add images beyond those presented.

Many of the people and places the images are identified in the photograph's description. The collection features several historically significant artists and local politicians. Information about these individuals is available in a variety of topical reference materials. Before material from the collection may be published or otherwise reproduced, in whole or in part, in any publication (including dissertations to be microfilmed and distributed by University Microfilms), written permission must be obtained from the Special Collections at the Brunswick-Glynn County Library.
