Description: Letter from Amory Dexter, civil engineer and one-time agent of the Yahoola River and Cane Creek Hydraulic Hose Mining Company, to Colonel Wier Boyd, dated February 26, 1877. Dexter apologizes for not visiting with Boyd when in Atlanta, due to illness, and updates Boyd on his travel plans. He relates that Mr. Wainwright in Boston wants to know if Dr. Vandyke will not meet his obligations. Dexter suggests that if Dr. Vandyke does not make payments, Boyd should seek another buyer. He asks Boyd to suggest prospective buyers.
