Description: The collection consists of a printed agreement (completed in manuscript) in which Giles Moore, previously a slave in the Cherokee Nation, enlists in the 2nd Regiment of Kansas Colored Volunteers. Moore was 35 years old and the document bears his "X" mark signature.
