| Description: | Cohutta, ca. 1978. This scale, used to weigh cotton, was part of Shugart's Cotton Gin. The gin is being dismantled and moved to Prater's Mill, where in 1979 it was reassembled. Prater's Mill is located on Coahulla Creek along Ga. Highway 2 about 10 miles north of Dalton. |
