| Description: | This document is a letter, dated April 19, 1790, from John B. Scott to Edward Telfair, Governor of Georgia (1786-1787, 1790-1793). Scott informs Telfair that the Virginia Yazoo Company, a land speculating firm, has decided to accept the terms of an act passed by the Georgia legislature for disposing of certain lands within the state.
