Description: Affidavit of James Dennard of Washington County, Georgia dated March 11, 1798 and sworn to before John Glenn. Dennard testifies that he was involved in an encounter with unnamed Indians near a place known as Long Bluff, along with Reubin Lawson, during which several shots were fired. Dennard also comments on the interference of Jeremiah Oates, but it is unclear how he was involved.
