Description: In the interview Iris Thompson Stanley sings folk songs taught to her by her father, Gaston Allen Thompson. These songs are: "Little Margaret," "Silver Dagger," "Jolly Boys," and "Little Orphan Girl." The recording also includes hymn singing at Caney Creek Primitive Baptist Church and a prayer. In the transcript, but not on the recording is a a summary of an interview with Willie Jarrell and grave yard stories told by Eva Williamson. Willie Jarrell is a farmer and the clerk of Caney Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
