Tinsley Ellis is an American blues/rock musician from Atlanta. In 1975, he played with the Haygood Band while attending Emory University. Ellis made five critically acclaimed albums for Alligator Records between 1988 and 1997, including Georgia Blue, before recording for the Capricorn and Telarc labels.
