Description: Biographical information, photographic image, abstract of oral history interview, and selected audio clips of Norma Jeanne Taylor Cahill, Georgia-born civic activist and businesswoman, who was appointed in 1972 to the Georgia Commission on the Status of Women and to the White House Conference on Families in 1979, was a member of the Georgia Coordinating Committee for the Observance of International Women's Year and the board of directors of ERA Georgia, Inc., served as a delegate to the 1974 and 1978 Democratic National Conventions, was president of Cahill Properties, Inc., and founder and CEO of Advanced Fitness Systems, was vice president of the Georgia Student Finance Commission, and has been actively involved in many civic and nonprofit organizations. The audio clips discuss women in prison and gender in education.
