Description: Lake Warner on Riverside Drive. Photograph taken of Lake Warner, named for General A. J. Warner, Congressman from Marietta, Ohio, who developed a power plant on the Chestatee River, fifteen miles from Gainesville. Additional electric current was needed, and a dam and power plant were built at Dunlap School, three miles from Gainesville on the Chattahoochee River. Lake Warner was located at the end of Riverside Drive.
