Description: Mossy Creek Methodist Camp ground, early 1950s. Photograph of services in the Mossy Creek Methodist Camp ground, taken in the early 1950s. The camp ground, established in 1832 by the Methodist Church, is located on Mossy Creek Road, White county, near the Hall county line. This began as a central place for the people of the surrounding area to gather after the crops were laid by for worship and fellowship. Week-long meetings are still held annually.
