|Description:||Charters-Smith home. Photograph taken of the Charters-Smith home, located on North Green Street and built in 1906 by Col. W. A. Charters, an attorney. It was modeled after a house in Cartersville, Ga. Across the front are six fluted Corinthian columns, a wide semi-circular veranda, leveled leaded glass transom and side lights, a temple form portico, and on the second floor two porthole windows and lintel. |
