Description: Elephants in Gainesville. Photograph of elephants in Gainesville. A photograph taken when the elephants came to Gainesville almost every year. Many times there would be a circus parade with the elephants and other animals, clowns and entertainers. These elephants were being shown in the early 1950s on West Washington Street near Hosch Brothers.
