Description: This image shows an engraving of the Bank of the United States (1821), in Savannah, Georgia. The Greek revival-style building is depicted with two palm trees growing on either side in the front of the building. Six columns frame the entrance. Several people stand before the building. This structure was designed by the architect William Jay and was razed in the 1980s.
