Title: 4-H summer camps
Description: Photograph of participants in a Georgia 4-H summer camp playing a teamwork game. Ten young men and women stand on a long wooden plank. Each holds a piece of rope attached to the wood. Members of Georgia 4-H, ranging in age from the fifth to the twelfth grades, numbered around 198,000 in 2005.

The 4-H organization first became active in Georgia in 1904, and in 1914 it was designated the youth program of the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Service.
