Description: This image shows a warehouse of the W. C. Bradley Company, which was located on Front Avenue in Columbus, Georgia. A large sign is painted across the front of the structure; it reads "W. C. Bradley Co. Cotton warehousemen and fertilizer manufacturers. Bradley Warehouse No. 2." A metal water tower rises behind the warehouse. A trailer sits in the space in front of the warehouse. The company began as a cotton-factoring business in the nineteenth century and expanded into numerous other areas, including fertilizer manufacturing, banks, and iron, during the twentieth century.
