Description: Photograph of B. D. Maule, an aircraft designer who founded the B. D. Maule Company in Michigan in 1941. The company, known today as Maule Air, Incorporated, moved to Moultrie, Georgia in 1968 and continues to produce a line of single-engine airplanes based on Maule's design of the "M-4," which he completed in 1956.
