McKenney, Secretary of Indian Affairs, to Opothle Yoholo and the Creek delegation, in which he acknowledges the Creeks&apos; appropriation of twenty four thousand dollars from the proceeds of a recent unnamed treaty (ostensibly the Treaty of Washington, January 24, 1826) to go toward the education of Creek children at the Choctaw Academy in Blue Springs, Kentucky, under the direction of the Baptist General Convention.  McKenney conveys the approbation of the President and the Department of War.  Letter dated April 3, 1826.</dc:description>
