<dc:description>This document appears to be the talks and articles of a convention held at Augusta on November 1, 1783, between commissioners for the state of Georgia and a delegation of Creek Indian leaders. The talk is from the state commissioners and expresses the desire to maintain peaceful relations between Georgia and the Creeks. The agreed upon articles detail the boundary line to be run between the state and the Creek Nation and reparations to be made by the Creeks for recent alleged thefts. John Twiggs, Elijah Clarke, Edward Telfair, Andrew Burns, and William Glascock acted on behalf of the state and the Tallesee (Talasee, Tallassee) King, the Tallesee Warrior, the Fat King, and a number of other Creek headmen and warriors acted on behalf of the Creek Nation.</dc:description>
