<dc:description>This document is a letter from Major Richard Call to Major General (Nathanael Greene?), dated March 25, 1783. Call writes to introduce his friend Colonel George Rootes from Virginia, who has lately become a citizen of Georgia. Call states that Rootes has obtained a grant for 200,000 acres of Georgia land to be acquired following a treaty with unnamed Indians currently underway (probably the Treaty of Augusta, 1783, with the Creek Indians.)</dc:description>
