<dc:description>This document is a letter from Major Richard Call, at Rocky Spring Encampment near Rock Landing (Baldwin County, Georgia), to Governor of Georgia Edward Telfair (1786-1787, 1790-1793), dated July 15, 1791. Call informs Telfair that, as per orders from the Department of War, preparations are being made for the running of the Indian boundary line in accordance with a recent unnamed treaty between the United States and the Creek Indians (probably the Treaty of New York, signed in August of 1790). Creek leader Alexander McGillivray is mentioned.</dc:description>
