<dc:description>Biographical information, photographic image, abstract of oral history interview, and selected audio clips of Judith Lightfoot Cormack, computer industry employee, activist in the Women's Movement in Georgia both in Georgia and nationally, and member and officer in the National Organization for Women. She was a founding member of the Georgia Women's Political Caucus (1971), a member of the 1972 Georgia Commission on the Status of Women, and involved with the local Jewish community in Atlanta during her residence there. In all of these activities, she worked for social causes that were of importance to her, including reproductive rights for women, inequality within the legal system, and the challenges involved in fighting a conservative Georgia legislature. She returned to Australia in 1978 and continues to reside there. The audio clips talk about picketing the Salvation Army over Billie McClure case and seeking public accommodation in a bar with a friend, Martha Gaines</dc:description>
